My father, very reluctantly, turned 90 this month. It’s frustrating for me to witness his negativity towards aging. As his daughter, I try to be compassionate and understanding but what I really want to do is shake him and tell him to appreciate all that he has! At the age of 90 he is surprisingly sharp in mind and vision and hears with the help of hearing aids. Although weak and frail in his body, he can still walk without a cane and, horrors of all horrors, he drives.
