Does Social Media Inspire You Or Sink You?

sourced from: https://www.yogateachertrainingyogacara.com/does-social-media-inspire-you-or-sink-you/

About a year ago, I did a radical thing. I started accepting myself, just as I am. I know, crazy right? Who does that? Well, I wanted to try it, so I started exploring what self acceptance meant, and how others practiced self acceptance. This search led me first to, Things No One Will Tell Fat Girls: A Handbook for Unapologetic Living by Jes Baker. It blew my mind and led me to a bunch of other amazing things. But, one piece of advice really stuck with me: “change your Tumblr, change your life.”

Baker’s argument is that, if you follow people who are posting about radical self acceptance, you’ll start to embody that self acceptance. Media is reporting some alarming insights on the how viewing socia… Read More

Simple Pathways

Find any comfortable posture.
Systematically expand and lengthen your body in all directions while staying totally relaxed and comfortable. Focus on doing this for a count of six.
